Where is Sea Apple Create available?
At the moment, Sea Apple Create is exclusively available in-store at New Bahru.
Can I bring in my own items to customise?
We are currently only able to do Sea Apple Create on in-store purchases.
What are the items available to customise?
There are plenty of choices for you to customise: kids caps, adult caps, kids t-shirts, backpacks, name tags, bibs, baby onesies, baby soothers, and of course the lovable Jellycat bunnies soft toys and bag charms!
Can I customise any Jellycat soft toy?
Only Jellycat bunnies with fabric ears are customisable with patches, i.e. Blossom, Stardust, and Twinkle series. For bunnies with furry ears, we have embroidery service available.
Can I reserve items ahead of time?
We are unfortunately not able to take reservations. You can however go online to select your item, check it out and select New Bahru as a pick up option. You are welcomed to customise your item upon collection. Please allow 2-3 business days for us to prepare your order and transfer it down to the store. Do wait for a “pick up is ready” email before heading down.
How long do I have to wait?
During off-peak hours, Sea Apple Create can be as fast as 20 - 30 min depending on the time you take to select your patches. During peak hours, Sea Apple Create can be as long as 1 - 2 hours because queues start to form for patch selection, paying and pressing. We recommend joining us during an off-peak period for a smoother experience if your schedule allows!
So how long can the patches last?
With proper care for your item, iron-on patches will last 20-25 washes for apparel. We have some sticker-backed patches instore for name tags and we do not recommend these for apparel, as they will lose their adhesiveness when washed. For Jellycat, nametags and backpacks, we recommend spot cleaning. For best security, patches can also be sewn down at home. Is Sea Apple Create suitable for babies?
We do not recommend iron-on patches for babies. Please sew down patches for extra security if you are buying for a baby and check the item before handing it over to a baby or young child.
