Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea was one of my favorite books growing up. We had an old copy on the shelf, and it stood out with its weathered spine against all the other more modern looking titles around it. Unfortunately, the book was lost in our move to a new home. I will always have memories of those pages, especially the last image, with a sketch of the old man's hand upturned.
Our fishing boats print in the Summer Collection 2016 was inspired by this book. And to that copy that used to sit on our shelf, wherever you are, I miss you and hope to find you again one day
